The Big Picture
The Big Picture
Because Tallahassee is the state capital and the home of large universities, there are gems tucked in here and there for the curious to find. One of these gems for elders is the Claude Pepper Center.
The mission of The Claude Pepper Center at FSU is to use information and data from multiple sources to help inform policy makers, researchers, teachers, the media and the general public about the health, long term care and income security challenges confronting the nation’s older citizens.
The Center has aggregated thoughtful, reliable information from multiple sources about the coronavirus that we all should be aware of. To read it, go to
claudepeppercenter.fsu.edu
, select the “Coronavirus, Covid-19 and You” screen and scroll down to the list of articles. Additional articles are found from the main page. Select “Links of Interest”, scroll down to “Covid-19 and Public Policy”.
While so much feels out of control these days, having access to the information in this archive provides the big picture as it evolves. Even though we are powerless to change much, at least we will be able to understand what is going on beyond our own front doors, to form knowledgeable opinions and have realistic hope.
