Become a Volunteer with N3
Thank you for thinking about joining Neighbor to Neighbor in the Nenes’ (N3) cadre of dedicated, compassionate doers. Volunteers make everything N3 does possible. There would be no Neighbor to Neighbor in the Nenes without volunteers who are dedicated to helping their older neighbors do things they can no longer do for themselves. N3 has two categories of volunteer work - Direct Service and Administrative.
Direct Service
All direct services are delivered by neighborhood volunteers. They include: friendly phone calls, friendly visitors, grocery shopping, medication pickup, yard work, home maintenance, technical support, laundry, meals, rides, de-cluttering, cleaning, information and referrals on topics of concern to elders and referrals to fee-for-service providers
Administrative
Administrative tasks are those that help the organization function. They include data entry, research, website maintenance, fundraising, bookkeeping, and organizing birthday singing events.
Paperwork
If you are interested in volunteering, please call 850-901-7828 or send us an email via our Contact page. All volunteers must sign a waiver and have a background check. The Volunteer Waiver Form can be downloaded by clicking Volunteer Waiver
N3 will provide the background check through Sterling Volunteers or you can provide evidence of a background check within the last five years if you had one at a previous work or volunteer situation.
Thank you for thinking of N3 and our neighborhood elders.
